Lacrosse Layering: Separate Playing Clothes From Sideline Layers
Updated: 14 hours ago
Layering choices depend on the weather, activity and time spent waiting. A layer that feels useful on a chair may not be permitted or comfortable under equipment during play.
Begin with the program’s instructions
Confirm the permitted playing outfit and how required equipment should fit. Avoid loose items or accessories during an activity when the program does not permit them. Ask about an uncertain layer before using it in a drill.
Pack for waiting and travel
Choose an optional layer for the forecast and consider a dry change for afterward. A tee and separate hoodie may offer useful flexibility, but no one garment guarantees safety in cold, wet or windy conditions. Follow event cancellation and weather guidance.
Compare current products
The Be Active Fall Long Sleeve Tee lists S–2XL. The Be Active Fall Lacrosse Hoodie also lists S–2XL. The Sideline Relaxed Hoodie — Women’s lists XS–XL. Use each current chart and material description instead of assuming identical fit or weight.
Test the outfit’s actual use
For a sideline purchase, compare measurements with what you plan to wear beneath it. For playing clothing, use the coach’s guidance and equipment fitting instructions. Keep dry items easy to find rather than tying spare clothing around the waist during play.
Our hoodie comparison helps with buying choices; the seasonal packing checklist helps plan what to bring.
